A great kiln opening with a lot of success. We also fired some pieces for a friend in this run. Cone 5 custom program on our L&L Easy Fire kiln with a controller. We did a slow glaze program up to cone 5 – 2165° with a 10 minute hold because we wanted to “kiss” cone 6. We then dropped to 1950° and held for 15 minutes to make sure there would be no pitting. New pots came out with new glazes. Very exciting!
